A new series‐connected 36‐pulse rectifier with hybrid DC‐reinjection method for high power output

In this study, a new 36-pulse rectifier with hybrid DC-reinjection circuit is proposed. It multiplies the AC-side input voltage steps from 12 to 36 using auxiliary for and current modulation. Both AC DC side harmonics of system are efficiently suppressed when combined filter capacitors at side. Only 2 more diodes an IGBT used in proposed approach constituting injection circuit. The cascaded structure bridges allows significant gain, making it appropriate high power output rectification applications. 12-pulse rectifier's phase shifting operational theory introduced. transformer's turn ratio IGBT's conduction angle both designed have lowest possible harmonic distortion Analyses done on impedance matching feature energy loss IGBT. operating performance assessed active switch fails. With help 1.8 kW prototype HIL based Starsim, theoretical portion confirmed. results simulation experiments support effectiveness method studied.
